Our firm is now 20 years old. We began in 1998 when Bryan Kishner decided to leave a big-firm practice and strike out on his own. The firm quickly established its niche, always handling real estate transactions and business litigation. These two, often related practice areas have continued to be the firm’s focus.
Ryan Miller became a partner in 2010. Ryan began with the firm while a law student and has remained ever since. At first, Ryan concentrated on real estate transactions, but he quickly became enmeshed in the firm’s litigation practice. His work and practice led to the firm’s further growth over the years. Ryan continues, like Bryan, to handle both real estate matters and commercial litigation.
Most recently, Scott Himes joined in the fall of 2016 as the third partner. Scott brings to the firm 35-plus years of litigation and trial experience in many areas of commercial and business litigation, as well as regulatory and investigative matters. He spent most of his career (some 30 years) with a highly regarded litigation boutique, Stillman & Friedman, P.C., and became a partner in a “Big Law” national law firm when S & F merged with the national firm. His addition greatly enhances the firm’s litigation capabilities in wide-ranging areas of business litigation, as well as in securities fraud cases and investigations.
Our firm now includes other experienced attorneys, including a partner, counsel and associates, all of whom practice in our real estate and litigation areas. They add invaluable depth and flexibility in representing our clients, and each of them is deeply involved in our work.
